Hilarious.
All the strange mugging Weir does for the camera is so odd here. It's what jumps out whenever I try to look at this thing. It's as if he spent so many years being a sidekick, playing ass-clown to Garcia's preeminence, that it's lost on him that he's actually the frontman here.
It's like he's in fourth grade and he's making fun of the teacher behind her back. I mean the other guys are playing it pretty straight, and the band is not called 'Bobby Cochran and the Midnites.'

I dunno. Journey came back into style. And I keep reading about how "hipsters" are big on enjoying things ironically, and you cannot possibly enjoy that any way BUT ironically, so maybe it's time comin, any day now ...
